Job Description Storeperson
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Key accountability: The incumbent must be committed to exceptional customer service, including clear and concise interpersonal skills, a friendly manner and willingness to help.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall Job Key Objectives:
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by e-mail and telephone.
• Discuss and recommend appropriate products to meet the clients’ needs.
• Follow up enquiries and quotations on a regular basis and negotiate with client as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts.
• Be aware of cross selling opportunities regarding other products e.g. spare parts, service contracts.
Warehouse
• Storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures and/or regulations
• Allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas
• Assemble and check equipment prior to shipping per company guidelines
• Check in and receipt incoming orders as they arrive against p/o
• Basic operation of computer terminal
• Booking freight couriers
• Periodic stock checks
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse, with all products in correct bin locations
Order Processing
• Process incoming customer orders, match the order with the original quote and close out the quote.
• Raise order acknowledgements and email to customer (or on phone –as appropriate).
• Liaise with Purchasing, Accounts, the customer, and Sales Engineers in relation to deliveries.
• Progress orders re late deliveries or change of delivery dates or other change.
• Ensure that paperwork relating to orders is always maintained and current, on screen and on file.
Other
• General office/warehouse duties as required e.g. Photocopying, scanning
• Additional ad-hoc duties as and when the arise.
• Liaise with Purchasing for stock replenishments
Office automation, policies and procedures
• Familiarity with the following:
o CRM database
o telephone system/mobiles
o Computer system.
• Familiarity with Company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements pertinent to the role.
Training and Development
You will be given full product training by Condair. You are also encouraged to engage in self-development to ensure that skills, knowledge, and competencies remain up to date and relevant.

Additionally, you must have a clean driving licence and be prepared to undergo Police Security Check as you may be required to attend customer sites.
