About the Role

Child Australia is seeking a proactive and experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team. You’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation that’s making a real difference in the education and care of children across Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who enjoys using creativity and technology to develop and implement integrated marketing and advertising campaigns that strengthen brand presence, drive traffic, promote organisational programs and support business growth across multiple Child Australia brand.

You will work closely with the marketing team to contribute to strategic planning, campaign development, market research, digital transformation projects and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including social media, email, and our website.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute multichannel marketing campaigns across social media, email, web shop and website, and traditional channels ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Manage and optimise digital platforms, including WordPress, WooCommerce shopfront, Moodle LMS, Google Suite, Mailchimp and Pipedrive CRM.
  • Lead SEO strategies, content optimisation and brand consistency across all online channels.
  • Create engaging content using Canva and Adobe Suite, including copywriting, artwork, photography and videography for social media and marketing materials.
  • Conceptualise and implement creative communication and PR campaigns, including advocacy initiatives in collaboration with sector partners.
  • Schedule content and oversee social media presence via Facebook Meta Business Suite, covering multiple brand accounts (3 accounts, 20 sub-pages.
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance using Meta & LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics, WooCommerce, Moodle and Mailchimp, connecting them through Excel and Power BI, to provide insights to improve engagement and lead generation.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

About You

You’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital marketing with proven skills in WordPress, WooCommerce, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, SEO, and Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel (including reporting), and CRM tools such as Pipedrive.
  • Creative expertise in Canva, Adobe Suite, and strong photography/videography skills for content creation.
  • Ability to manage complex social media structures via Facebook Meta Business Suite (multiple accounts and sub-pages).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

As part of our commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance issued within the last six months. This must be submitted prior to commencing employment.
