Position Purpose: The Credit Portfolio Manager position is a key member of our rapidly growing team. This role focuses on managing the overall existing loan book and all underlying clients. It is fast-paced and multi-faceted, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of the existing portfolio and identify and resolve any potential issues with positions or clients.

• Manage all portfolio changes, including interest rate changes, repayments, and missed payments, ensuring smooth running of the portfolio.

• Work with the borrower origination team on new clients and transactions to maintain high standards as the portfolio grows.

• Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance customer experience and customer return.

Person Requirements:

Knowledge:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in credit management.

• Knowledge of the Australian alternative investment market (preferably RG146 compliant).

• Knowledge of private credit is beneficial.

Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in relationship management, credit, and credit analysis in financial services.

• Experience in non-bank lending is beneficial, with a deep understanding of credit and settlement processes.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and clients.

• Experience in presenting data analysis to management.

Qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree is considered an advantage.

• Postgraduate qualifications will be valuable.
