Campbell Construction Co has an exciting opportunity for a HR Intern to join a values-led team, unified in their goal, working along side experienced HR/People & Culture professionals to support the broader team in a range of HR related projects and activities to support the delivery of the people strategy to be an employer of choice!
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity, perhaps for a current student who wants to get meaningful experience and mentorship. This is a part time role therefore can fit around study or life commitments.
- Assist with recruitment admin, onboarding & offboarding processes, including preparation and administration of new hire documentation, induction to setup new starters for success
- Ensuring accurate and reliable HR systems, we use Employment Hero
- Update and audit HR documentation i.e. position descriptions, compliance records, tracking documentation, personnel files etc.
- Involved in exciting projects to improve employee experience and engagement.
- Gain knowledge and experience of Fair work legislation, NES and modern awards ensuring policies and procedures are up to date.
- Foster a healthy culture, emotionally and physically and champion our values.
What you’ll bring
- Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in HR, business, psychology or related field
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Genuine interest to gaining experience to kick off your HR career
