We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Specialist (Project) to help build this team. Working alongside our People & Culture team and partnering closely with leaders across the organisation, you’ll play a pivotal role in attracting, engaging and onboarding exceptional people who are passionate about making a difference.

This is a full time position based out of our Arundel office; however, if part time work is preferable
to you, please detail this in your cover letter. This is a fixed term contract for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension. Immediate start is available.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, you’ll partner closely with leaders across the organisation to deliver end-to-end recruitment while supported by an experienced P&C team for more complex matters. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, build trusted relationships quickly and manage multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.
What you’ll do
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment across multiple vacancies.
- Manage advertising across SEEK, LinkedIn and other channels.
- Manage recruitment activities within Employment Hero, maintaining accurate candidate records and progressing vacancies through each stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Proactively source and engage candidates through a variety of recruitment channels and talent networks.
- Screen applications, conduct telephone screenings, coordinate interviews and participate in selection interviews.
- Partner with hiring managers to progress recruitment efficiently.
- Create a welcoming and professional recruitment experience through respectful communication, timely updates and genuine candidate engagement.
- Coordinate pre-employment checks and assist with onboarding process.
- Provide accurate recruitment data and deliver regular progress reporting, ensuring leaders have visibility of vacancy status, recruitment pipelines and project milestones.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes.
About you
- 2–4 years’ recruitment experience (internal or agency).
- Experience in volume or project-based recruitment.
- Able to manage competing priorities and multiple vacancies.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and administration skills.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, with exposure to Employment Hero or similar platforms considered advantageous.
- Collaborative, proactive and solutions focused.
- Must have or be willing to apply for a Working with Children Check (relevant to the state) and a National Police Certificate.
