Bluestar Global Logistics is a Private Australian Family-owned national company specialising in global distribution, interstate/intrastate transport and warehousing. Our ethos of Integrity, Honesty and Trust shape our decisions and dictate the relationship we have with our customers.

We are seeking an experienced Road Transport Customer Service Representative to join our Melbourne team on a full time basis. The hours of work are 9:00am -5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Proactively support customers and operations to ensure service levels are maintained and customer satisfaction is maintained or exceeded,
  • Track and trace of freight,
  • Communicate, problem solve and coordinate service issues, complaints, resolutions and responses,
  • Provide a direct point of contact for customers,
  • Enter all customer service queries in our in-house computer system and conclude in a timely manner,
  • Establish professional rapport with customers and operations team.
  • Respond promptly to all customer service queries,
  • Produce KPI reports as required,
  • Provide back-up to others in the customer service team.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the road transport industry,
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and a transport management system,
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written,
  • A professional telephone manner in customer interaction,
  • Time management, planning and organisational skills,
  • Ability to deal with conflict and work under pressure,
  • Ability to work quickly and to deadlines.
