As our Human Resources Generalist, reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, you’ll play a key role in partnering with leaders across the organisation to support our people, strengthen workplace culture, and ensure best practice across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
No two days are the same. From coaching through employee relations matters and workplace investigations, to managing workers compensation claims, supporting organisational change, and contributing to strategic workforce initiatives, you’ll be at the centre of delivering practical, people-focused HR solutions.

About the role
You will provide operational a HR support across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing practical advice across the full employee lifecycle.
- Managing complex employee relations matters, including performance management, misconduct, grievances and disciplinary processes.
- Leading and supporting workplace investigations involving both employee matters and complaints relating to children and young people.
- Coordinating internal complaint management and ensuring timely, fair and procedurally sound outcomes.
- Managing workers compensation claims and return-to-work programs in partnership with injured workers and external stakeholders.
- Providing advice and support on industrial relations matters, including interpretation of the SCHADS Award and employment legislation.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning initiatives.
- Supporting Workplace Health and Safety initiatives including psychosocial risk management.
- Contributing to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining HR systems, reporting and employee records to ensure compliance and data integrity.
About You
You are a proactive individual who enjoys solving problems, building trusted relationships and navigating complex workplace matters with confidence and professionalism.
- Experience in Human Resources, such as an HR Advisor, HR Coordinator or similar role. (Advantageous)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
- A willingness to learn and develop across areas such as employee relations, workplace investigations, workers compensation and industrial relations.
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline. (Advantageous)
- Knowledge of the SCHADS Award or similar industrial awards will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- A current Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
