This is a high-impact role responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving product master data across the business. You will help convert legacy product information into structured, configurable product data that supports accurate manufacturing, product configuration, reporting, costing and operational decision-making.

If you enjoy working with data, systems, manufacturing processes and cross-functional stakeholders, this is an opportunity to make a genuine difference in a business-critical project.

About the role

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Master Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring product data is accurate, complete, consistent and ready to support ERP go-live and ongoing business use.

You will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Projects and RDP teams to build and maintain reliable product structures, Bills of Materials, routings and configuration data within Business Central.

This role will suit someone who is highly analytical, detail-focused and confident working with both systems and operational teams.

This is a full-time onsite position based at our Head Office in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Establish, maintain and improve product master data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Convert legacy, non-configured product data into structured and configurable product models.
  • Support product configuration logic, data migration, validation and ERP readiness activities.
  • Create, maintain and improve Bills of Materials, routings and product structures.
  • Ensure BOMs and routings accurately reflect production processes, costing requirements and operational realities.
  • Cleanse, standardise and validate large datasets to support accurate migration and system use.
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplication, gaps and structural issues.
  • Support UAT, ERP troubleshooting, configuration validation and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and apply data governance standards, naming conventions, validation checks and controls.
  • Work with stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Finance and Projects to ensure system data supports practical business outcomes.

About you

You will bring strong data capability, ERP exposure and a practical understanding of how accurate product and manufacturing data supports business performance.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in master data management, product configuration, ERP systems or manufacturing data.
  • Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, item masters, product structures or configurable products.
  • Exposure to an ERP environment, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar system.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, validation, cleansing and structuring large datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns, errors and inconsistencies in data.
  • Confidence working with operational stakeholders to validate data and understand real-world processes.
  • The ability to translate production or business processes into structured system data.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in manufacturing, furniture, cabinetry, engineered products, building products or another configurable product environment would be highly regarded.

Exposure to Power BI, data reporting tools, AI-assisted data cleansing, automation or product configurators would also be advantageous.
