About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Cook to lead kitchen operations and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents. This hands-on role includes menu planning, food preparation, and supporting a small kitchen team to ensure a positive dining experience.

This role is primarily an afternoon shift (approx. 3:30pm – 7:30pm), with flexibility in start and finish times. You’ll be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and supporting a small team to create a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations
• Plan menus to meet dietary needs and preferences
• Prepare and serve high-quality meals
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Manage stock, ordering, and minimise waste

About You

• Experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience highly regarded)
• Strong menu planning and food safety knowledge
• Organised, reliable, and team-focused
• Empathetic with a passion for resident wellbeing

Requirements

• Food Safety Certificate
• National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
