About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Fleet Coordinator to join our team, working from our West Melbourne or Altona branch.

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our locations by maintaining, coordinating, and managing the administrative functions related to our fleet within the state. This role requires a proactive individual who is eager to learn, open to growth, and has a positive attitude. An interest or background in working with cars or vehicles is highly desirable.

This role is responsible for:

  • Assisting the state manager with the sale of vehicles.
  • Coordinating the preparation of new vehicles for rent.
  • Ensure all administrative functions relating to the fleet are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage the cost of items related to vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, including work health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained and presented to the highest standards.
  • Develop and maintain close liaison with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.

Skills and experience

  • A current driver’s license is required.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to learn and adapt to complex computer systems and comprehensive knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of vehicle parts and service consumables.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable to respond to ad hoc requests and unexpected situations.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships and be a self-starter.
