As a key member of our Marketing and Communications team, you will play a pivotal role in developing effective B2C and B2B marketing plans that will increase brand awareness, engage audience around our professional development offerings, membership program and other corporate initiatives, drive leads and registrations as well as being an active member in the Marketing, Communications and Digital team to achieve strategic organisational goals.

About the role

As the Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, deliver and evaluate end-to-end marketing campaigns to promote AusIMM’s professional development offerings (with a primary focus on online courses) and other organisational activities to new and existing audiences and achieve specific targets
  • Prepare, schedule and distribute social and EDM content including development of messaging and creative (with support of graphic designer)
  • Create, maintain and/or refresh marketing materials (videos, interviews, articles, blogs, flyers, website pages etc) to support various marketing campaigns and partnership deliverables
  • Work with team members to build new leads, increase enquiry and drive conversions for AusIMM’s products and services in a global marketplace
  • Support the optimisation of the full enrolment funnel (awareness → enquiry → lead → enrolment), including messaging refinement, landing page improvements, and targeted nurture sequencing.
  • Review analytics (including Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Analytics insights) and prepare insights to inform strategic direction, messaging and effort
  • Work with external agencies for digital media outreach and work with AusIMM internal team to build partnerships and long-term relationships with other relevant organisations
  • Evaluate marketing performance and return on investment on marketing campaigns, and prepare campaign reports for stakeholders

About you

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • University qualification in marketing or communication, or 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience preparing delivering end-to-end marketing campaigns using multiple channels in fast paced environment to achieve objectives
  • Excellent written, presentation and editing skills to ensure communications suit diverse audiences
  • Proven experience creating and posting content for websites (e.g. WordPress, Optimizely, social media (LinkedIn, META) and EDM marketing (e.g. Dynamics, Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp), including automations and customer journeys
  • Data analytic experience to interpret data and make informed decisions to deliver effective results
  • Organised, collaborative team player, able to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to identify issues, devise solutions and adapt quickly to changing market conditions and new opportunities

Desirable

  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing highly desirable
  • Experience with not for profit / association sector desirable
  • Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
