As we continue to expand across Australia, we are seeking a motivated and proactive HR Advisor to join our team in Concord, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to further develop their Employee Relations and Industrial Relations expertise while partnering closely with operational leaders and building your career within a growing and evolving organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the National HR Manager, you will provide generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle while partnering with managers to deliver practical people solutions.

You will play a key role in workforce administration, employee relations, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting a diverse workforce across multiple operational locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration through Employment Hero, including onboarding, internal movements, promotions and offboarding activities.
  • Manage employee documentation, licences, certifications, and compliance records.
  • Generate HR reports, workforce metrics, and people analytics.
  • Provide advice and support to managers on employee performance matters.
  • Assist with investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Support the interpretation and application of Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements (EAs), policies, and employment contracts.
  • Contributeto continuous improvement initiatives and enhancements to HR processes and systems.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Support workforce planning and recruitment activities as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources Advisor or HR Generalist position.
  • Exposure to Employee Relations and a genuine interest in further developing your Industrial Relations knowledge.
  • Experience supporting managers with performance management and workplace matters.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience working within organisations operating under Enterprise Agreements (EAs) or other industrial instruments.
  • Exposure to blue-collar, industrial, construction, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, utilities, or renewable energy environments.
  • Experience using Employment Hero HRIS.
  • Demonstrated involvement in process improvement initiatives.
