Description

About the Catholic Development Fund

Catholic Development Fund (CDF) are a values-based financial institution that provides funding and support across its footprint of Catholic organisations, including parishes, primary and secondary schools, healthcare, aged care, and social services providers.

Our work enables real impact: from hospital wings for the sick, safe havens for the homeless, and classrooms for the young – we support our customers to grow their mission. Through our expertise and commitment, we help Catholic organisations and everyday people put their faith into action and contribute to a fairer, more cohesive society.

About the Role

The I.T. Business Unit has responsibility for servicing the operational needs of Melbourne CDF and banking related services and support for Melbourne CDF clients and for 22 other entities (‘Funds’) across Australia and New Zealand. Funds’ clients make deposits, withdrawals, take loans and a range of other related services, that will widen with modernisation initiatives from this year.

It is recognised that Integration Services plays a key enabling role in our Digital Strategy. A new Integration Services capability has been initiated to support our customers by substantially improving how they receive payments, make payments, and access and use online banking.

There is a need for unlocking integration pathways between payment partners, banking platform and customer systems to automate payment and data flow. This includes Real Time payments, seamless integrated payment experience, simpler reconciliation integration into customer ERP/Finance Systems, and Real Time reporting.

We have also recently undertaken a major version upgrade to our Core Banking Platform. It has been identified that a series of integration work packages related to the underlying technologies be instigated to further enhance the Core Banking capabilities. These initiatives meet the objectives of future proofing our core banking architecture by providing safe and resilient integrations, ensuring data can integrate with our client’s systems, providing innovative integration products and services, and improving client experience.

Having identified Integration Services as a key enabler, CDF I.T are responding to this new requirement by creating an Integration Services Capability.
