Description

Alliance Distribution Services (ADS) is a leading book distribution company in Australia & New Zealand, providing comprehensive distribution services, and exceptional customer service to our client publishers and their bookselling customers. ADS is fully owned and operated by Hachette Australia.

We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our busy warehouse team on a Casual Contract, beginning in May 2026. You will work together with our excellent warehouse teams in an array of duties to deliver the best possible distribution outcomes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Multiskilled warehouse work, including picking and packing, inventory, returns processing and additional warehouse tasks.
  • Monday to Friday
  • We are currently looking to strengthen our AM shift (6.30 AM – 2.45 PM).
  • New team members will be trained with all the required skills to perform well in the role.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS

  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to take instructions and then execute task independently.
  • Can work well as part of a team.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Previous pick, pack or warehouse experience
  • RF scanner experience
  • Previous experience with inventory related tasks
  • LF or LO licence
