Alliance Distribution Services (ADS) is a leading book distribution company in Australia & New Zealand, providing comprehensive distribution services, and exceptional customer service to our client publishers and their bookselling customers. ADS is fully owned and operated by Hachette Australia.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Allrounder (aprox 30 hrs pw) to support our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounts and payroll experience who enjoys a varied position and is comfortable being a key point of contact within the business.
Responsibilities
- Assist and relieve Senior Payroll Officer as required
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Banking, reconciliations, and data entry
- Processing customer payments, including credit card payments
- Entering and allocating payments received from customers
- General accounts administration and reporting
- Answering incoming phone calls and providing professional customer service support
Essential Skills & Experience::
- Proven experience in payroll processing
- Strong accounts experience (AP/AR and general accounts duties)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident phone manner and customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems (experience with employment hero would be an advantage)
