About All About Caring

All About Caring is a values-driven disability support provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred services that empower people to live independently and achieve their goals.

As we continue to grow, we’re investing in our people, systems and workforce capability.

We’re looking for an HR professional with strong capability development experience who can partner with leaders to improve workforce performance, employee development, recruitment quality and retention outcomes.

About the role

This role suits someone with experience in HR, People & Culture or HR Business Partnering who enjoys using learning and development as a tool to improve workforce capability, performance and retention.

While training and capability development are a significant part of the role, success comes from your ability to support managers, strengthen onboarding and probation processes, improve recruitment quality and partner with leaders to build high-performing teams.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Operations, you will help shape how we attract, develop and retain our people by designing and delivering training, improving onboarding and learning pathways, and supporting workforce capability initiatives. You’ll also contribute to recruitment, onboarding and strategic people projects, providing exposure to a broad range of HR and organisational development activities.

This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, likes being busy, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved. You’ll have the opportunity to identify opportunities for improvement, influence change, contribute ideas and take ownership of projects that strengthen our workforce and employee experience.

Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you’ll have the opportunity to build your expertise, contribute to meaningful projects and play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our workforce.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with managers to support probation, performance, development and employee lifecycle matters
  • Lead workforce capability and learning initiatives across the organisation
  • Identify capability gaps using performance data, audit findings, incidents and employee feedback
  • Improve onboarding pathways and workforce readiness
  • Manage recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection support
  • Support retention, engagement and workforce planning initiatives
  • Assist with workers compensation and return to work coordination
  • Lead continuous improvement projects across HR and learning systems
  • Analyse workforce, recruitment and training data to drive better outcomes

About You

We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive and genuinely passionate about helping people and organisations grow.

You don’t need to know everything, but you do need to enjoy learning, asking questions, challenging the status quo and finding better ways of doing things.

You’ll likely have experience in:

  • HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, L&D Advisor/coordinator or HR Business Partner roles
  • Supporting managers through probation and performance processes
  • Recruitment and candidate assessment
  • Employee relations and employee lifecycle activities
  • Designing or delivering learning and development initiatives
  • Using workforce data to identify risks and improvement opportunities

Highly Regarded:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Experience within disability, aged care, community services or another regulated industry
  • Experience using Employment Hero or similar HR systems
  • Experience supporting process improvement, workforce capability or employee engagement initiatives

Why Join Us?

  • Supportive and approachable leadership team
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
  • Birthday leave
  • Opportunity to own and grow the Learning & Development function
  • Exposure to strategic workforce capability, recruitment and retention projects
  • Genuine opportunity to influence change and contribute ideas
  • Career development and progression opportunities
  • Be part of a growing organisation where your ideas are welcomed and valued
  • Meaningful work that helps support both employees and the people we serve
