**Key Responsibilities:**
– Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, according to standard recipes or special requests.
– Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns.
– Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including regular cleaning of glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
– Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and checking stock levels to minimize wastage.
– Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, liquor licensing laws, and company policies.
– Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions.
– Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient bar operations during busy periods.
– Stay current with drink trends, customer preferences, and innovations in the mixology field.
**Required Skills:**
– Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clientele and team members.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and managing time efficiently.
– Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
– Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations or complaints with professionalism.
– Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
**Qualifications:**
– Minimum of 1 year of experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
– Relevant bartending certifications or training is an advantage (e.g., RSA – Responsible Service of Alcohol).
– Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
– A positive attitude, enthusiasm for the hospitality industry, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.
