Akambo Financial Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensee Support Assistant to join our fast-growing Licensee Support Team in Melbourne CBD. About the Role

As a Licensee Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our internal licensing team and external adviser network, helping them deliver exceptional service to clients. This role is ideal for someone who wants exposure to the operational side of financial planning and wealth management while developing strong technical and client service skills. There may also be opportunities to expand into an Advice-related role should that be a path you wish to take.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting advisers with new client onboarding and ongoing administration requests
  • Managing and maintaining accurate client data in Xplan CRM
  • Preparing annual review packs and client reports
  • Handling licensing enquiries and workflow management via our central support inbox
  • Assisting with investment applications, switches, redemptions, and transaction processing
  • Liaising with our internal investment team on pension payments and withdrawals
  • Providing guidance to advisers on review processes and workflows
  • Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients and referrers

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised, and passionate about building a career in financial advice or wealth management.

You will bring: ✔ High attention to detail and strong accuracy ✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills ✔ Strong organisational and time management skills ✔ Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced environment ✔ A proactive mindset and willingness to learn ✔ Professionalism, confidentiality, and high ethical standards ✔ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred (but not essential):

  • A Commerce, Business, or Financial Planning degree
  • Exposure to financial services, client services, or administration
  • Knowledge of Xplan CRM or financial planning processes
