Job Title: Strata Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Strata Manager to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As a Strata Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strata properties, ensuring their efficient operation and compliance with relevant regulations. This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements and two office locations available.
Skills:
– Minimum 1 year of experience as a Strata Manager or similar role in the property and housing industry
– Strong knowledge of strata management practices, legislation, and regulations in Australia
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
– Proficient in using property management software systems
– Strong organizational and time-management skills
– Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Responsibilities:
– Manage a portfolio of strata properties by providing proactive guidance on maintenance issues, financial matters, insurance claims, compliance requirements, etc.
– Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks for common areas within the strata properties
– Organize regular meetings (Annual General Meetings) for owners/strata councils to discuss important matters related to the properties
– Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings; ensure timely distribution among stakeholders
– Ensure all necessary paperwork/documentation is up-to-date including by-laws registrations,
insurance policies renewals etc.
-Provide professional advice on legal requirements regarding building codes or any other applicable rules/regulations.
-Assist with financial management including budgeting & financial reporting.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Property Management or related field preferred but not required
-Proven experience as a Strata Manager or similar role
-Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Strata Titles Act
-Certification from an industry body such as SCA (Strat Community Association) would be advantageous
