VDI Australia Group of companies have been the sole national distributor for Yutong buses since 2018, specialising in retailing Yutong buses, luxury coaches and their parts to a wide range of businesses and industries across Australia. We are seeking a professional, organised, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our high-performing team. In this key role, you will be responsible for reaching out to both new and existing clients, following up with service offers, and upselling additional solutions to ensure every customer has the opportunity to experience the full range of our service department—not just for Yutong buses, but for all their vehicle needs. Your expertise, product knowledge, and commitment to outstanding service will help drive business growth and ensure every customer leaves with confidence and satisfaction.

This role reports to the Service Manager Perth and is based on site at Belmont WA.

Training and support will be provided to the right candidate.

You will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and managing service bookings and enquiries
  • Providing clear explanations of recommended services and repairs
  • Ensure every customer is kept informed about their vehicle’s service status
  • Handling customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Scheduling service appointments and manage daily service workflow
  • Reviewing completed work with customers and explain charges
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer recommendations
  • Promoting service specials and maintenance packages

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor or customer service role (automotive preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team with a proactive, customer-first attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management ability
  • High level focus on delivering great customer service
  • Minimum valid Driver Licence
