About the Promotion
- This Promotion is offered by Employment Hero (ABN 11 160 047 709) and its affiliates (Employment Hero).
- As set out in these Terms & Conditions, this Promotion provides the opportunity for an Eligible Participant to receive a Reward (Promotion).
- The Promotion will be conducted during SmallBiz Week Melbourne on 29th & 30th April 2025 (Promotion Period).
Who can enter the Promotion?
- The Promotion is open to all attendees of SmallBiz Week Melbourne during the Promotion Period (Eligible Participant).
How to enter the Promotion?
- An Eligible Participant can enter the Promotion by scanning the QR code made available at the event and enter their personal details via the form on the following page –https://hr.employmenthero.com/Small-Biz-Week-2025.html
- Once an Eligible Participant has entered via the QR code (as set out at clause 5 above), they can gain a second entry to the Promotion by taking a photo wearing the Employment Hero rabbit ears at SmallBiz Week Melbourne, post the photo on LinkedIn and tag Employment Hero by the end of the Promotion Period. For clarity, a second entry will only be valid if a first entry has been made in accordance with clause 5.
- Your photo must not include anything offensive, illegal or that you do not have permission to use.
Reward
- After the Promotion Period, we will pick one winner at random using random sample technology.
- The winner will receive a Visa Gift Card valued at AUD$1,000 (Reward).
- The winner will be drawn the day after the event and will be notified by phone call or email, including details on how to claim their Reward.
Other Terms and Conditions that apply
- Standard Employment Hero Platform Terms and Conditions may apply.
- Separate terms and conditions may apply to the Eligible Participant’s use of the Reward. These terms will be set out by the Reward provider.
- Any personal data provided by an individual when participating in this Promotion is handled in accordance with the Employment Hero Privacy Policy.
- By entering the competition, you give us permission to share your photo on our website, social media, and promotional materials, with credit to you.
Liability
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Employment Hero (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, for any loss or damage arising in connection with this Promotion, including any:
- technical difficulties or Reward malfunction (whether or not under Employment Hero’s control);
- theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
- entries that are late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after Employment Hero receives it) due to any reason beyond Employment Hero’s reasonable control;
- variation in Reward value to that stated in these terms; or
- tax liability incurred by an Eligible Participant.
General Terms
- The Reward is not transferable to any other products or cash. If the Reward becomes unavailable, we may offer a similar one of equal value.
- The Reward is granted ‘as is’ and Employment Hero does not provide a warranty of the Reward’s merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Employment Hero reserves the right to terminate the Promotion early in full or in part at its absolute discretion.
- Laws may apply to Eligible Participants or to Employment Hero as a result of either party’s specific location. If this is the case, and if those laws are inconsistent with any part of these terms, those laws will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
- If any part or provision of these terms are invalid, unenforceable or in conflict with the law, that part or provision is replaced with a provision which, as far as possible, accomplishes the original purpose of that part or provision. The remainder of these terms will be binding on the parties.
- These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
