Zonta House Refuge Association (Zonta House) is a specialist provider of family and domestic violence (FDV) services. Our purpose, values, and services have been informed through over 40 years of experience, the needs of Victim-Survivors of FDV in our community, and research in leading practice. Zonta House provides holistic services to support individuals, children and families and facilitates education to contribute to social and systems change to prevent and stop FDV. Victim-survivors of FDV are able to access responsive and person-centred support based on their needs to build a future free from abuse and thrive.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Funding & Partnership Officer to join our team. This fulltime position offers flexibility to be arranged as part‑time (30 hours per week) and is available on a fixed‑term contract until 28th February 2027. Based in Willetton, the position provides the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team in a collaborative and community focused workplace.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Funding & Partnership Officer plays a key role in securing grants, tenders, and funding aligned with strategic priorities. This role builds and nurtures strong relationships with funders, donors, and partners, representing the organisation externally and supporting ethical, high value partnerships.
We’re looking for a motivated and proactive team player who is passionate about our purpose and brings a high level of attention to detail. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, taking initiative, and contributing to a positive, purpose driven team culture.
About you
You’ll bring a relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) in areas such as communications, public relations, business administration, social impact or storytelling along with hands on experience writing successful grants, tenders, or funding proposals in the not‑for‑profit or public sector.
You’re someone who enjoys building strong, collaborative relationships and can communicate confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You’re well organised, manage competing deadlines with ease, and are comfortable juggling multiple funding opportunities at once.
You have strong research and writing skills, can turn information into clear and compelling submissions and reports, and understand the importance of confidentiality and professional boundaries. You’re able to work independently, use initiative, and bring a respectful, inclusive approach when working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
The successful candidate will need to possess:
