We’re looking for a passionate Senior Youth Coach to support young people participating in our employment partnership programs within industries like healthcare, renewable energy and more.
In this role, you’ll work directly with young people as they prepare for, commence and sustain meaningful employment. You’ll provide coaching, mentoring and practical support to help participants build confidence, overcome workplace challenges and develop long-term careers in healthcare. You’ll also work closely with employers, supervisors and key stakeholders to create positive workplace experiences, strengthen employment pathways and ensure successful outcomes for both participants and partners.

Please note: this is a part-time position (0.6 FTE pro rata).
Your day to day as a Senior Youth Coach
- Support young people to prepare for, commence and sustain employment with Youth Projects’ healthcare partners.
- Provide coaching and practical support to help participants navigate workplace challenges and achieve their employment goals.
- Build strong relationships with participants, supervisors, employers and key stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, address emerging barriers and support positive employment outcomes.
- Support onboarding, promote program opportunities and maintain accurate participant records.
- Strengthen employer partnerships and create future employment pathways.

Key requirements
- Certificate IV or higher in Training & Assessment or similar discipline
- Demonstrated experience in youth employment, vocational support, case management or workforce development programs.
- Exceptional ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Strong administration skills and competency across Microsoft Office applications.
