Young Mindz is a national Registered Disability Support Provider committed to empowering Australians with disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. We deliver person-centred services including Supported Independent Living (SIL) and tailored disability support, underpinned by mindfulness, self-care, and community wellness.

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced, people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, building meaningful candidate relationships, and shaping positive employee experiences from first contact through to onboarding.

About the Role

The newly created role focuses primarily on recruiting frontline disability support workers who play a critical role in participant care. You’ll proactively develop talent pipelines, manage candidate waitlists, and ensure we are always positioned to meet participant needs. Working within a regulated NDIS environment, you’ll maintain rigorous compliance standards across screening, documentation, and onboarding, where attention to detail is essential.

Working from home, Monday to Thursday from 9:30am to 3.00pm, you’ll have the opportunity to truly make this role your own while directly contributing to the quality of care delivered to our participants.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through to onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates, ensuring a strong and diverse talent pool
  • Coordinate reference checks, background checks, offers, and onboarding
  • Champion a smooth, engaging candidate experience at every stage
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Provide recruitment insights and contribute to continuous improvement of processes
  • Support employer branding initiatives that showcase why Young Mindz is a great place to work

The Schedule

  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday, 9:30am – 3:00pm (with a half an hour unpaid break)
  • Fully Work from Home

The Pay

  • $70,000 per annum + superannuation, pro-rated to 20 hours per week

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven recruitment experience (agency, RPO, or in-house)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate independently in a standalone role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple roles while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience
  • A consultative, people-first approach to recruitment
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage compliance requirements in a regulated industry
