Who you are:
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking warehouse workers to join our team in Mickleham. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Role Purpose:
You will be working in a warehouse environment assisting with the disassembly and sorting of electronic equipment, as well as the assembly and preparation of pallets to specific requirements.
General duties:
- Disassembly of dated electronic devices and infrastructure
- Identifying and sorting electronic components appropriately
- Building pallets to specific specifications and job orders
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- General warehouse duties and maintaining a clean work area
- Following instructions and completing tasks accurately
Skills:
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Basic computer skills
- Basic reading, writing, and maths skills with the ability to use a calculator
- Ability to disassemble electronic devices and identify basic components (or willingness to learn)
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
Experience using basic tools such as;
- Hammers
- Chisels
- Screwdrivers
- Electric drills / impact drivers
- Ratchets and socket kits
- Spanners
