Who you are:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Mickleham warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The Site Manager will work closely with other members of the management team to achieve company goals and objectives.

 

Success in this role you will see:

  • Establish and maintain warehouse workflows and logistics;
  • Manage and supervise all site activities, including construction, maintenance, and repair work;
  • Conduct weekly toolbox meetings;
  • Determine staffing requirements for eWaste activities;
  • Carry out new staff inductions, explain and demonstrate duties for any position in the warehouse;
  • Performance appraisals for employees, and career pathway development initiatives;
  • Evaluate the performance of direct reports, including against Objectives and Key Results;
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met;
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders;
  • Ensure that all site documentation is accurate and up-to-date;
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery;
  • Ensure that licences, registrations, services & calibrations are up to date;
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by the employer to fulfil the role of a Site Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5yrs Warehouse Experience
  • Forklift licence, with good experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong Excel and Word
  • Eye for Detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations;
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
