Wunan delivers the Journey to Empowerment Program in the East Kimberley.

 

Program Description:  

Coordinate daily program operations, support reporting requirements, and supervise Mentors to ensure consistent, high‑quality client support.

 

Wunan is seeking a Coordinator to work closely with a team which will consist of a manager and two mentors. This person will need to have good communication skills, be familiar with the Kununurra community and be able to build a rapport with participants. 

 

Key Duties

  • Coordinate schedules, client support activities and program logistics.
  • Support preparation of Activity Work Plan Reports, Performance Reports and DEX submissions.
  • Supervise Mentors and review case notes and data quality.
  • Assist with compliance tasks, including CB9 Child Safe documentation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, families and partner agencies.

Essential Criteria:

Coordination or case management experience, strong organisational skills, DEX familiarity, ability to supervise staff, cultural competence.

 

Desirable criteria:

Community Services qualifications; DSS program experience.

 

Pre-employment requirements

☒ Satisfactory Criminal History Check (not older than 6 months)

☒ Current Working with children clearance

☒ Current Australian unrestricted ‘C’ class Driver’s license
