Position Overview:

The Radiographer at WiSE Medical plays a critical role in our healthcare team, responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a skilled and experienced professional who is proficient in operating advanced radiographic equipment and can work effectively in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms and operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general X-RAY, Computed Tomography (including angiograms, orthopaedic protocols),
  • Work independently and be able to collaborate within a wider multidisciplinary team,
  • Adhere to ALARA principles and ensure safe health care measures are in place,
  • Ensure patient centered care, open communication and accountability
  • Commitment to ongoing training and education

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current AHPRA registration and NSW EPA Radiation Licence.
  • Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (or equivalent).
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform X-RAY and CT independently.
  • Experience in Cardiac CT Imaging is high regarded
  • Capacity to assist in interventional procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, technical competence, and a patient centered approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
