The Role
As an Assistant Manager/Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services. Your contribution will be critical in helping clients manage risk and identify opportunities for process improvement. Your impact will be seen through:
· Supporting clients in creating value by identifying risk areas and recommending process improvements.
· Developing audit strategies and methodologies in collaboration with relevant teams.
· Helping clients mitigate financial risks by identifying potential issues or budget challenges.
· Building trusted client relationships and identifying future opportunities based on their evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
· Prepare audit planning and completion documentation
· Tailor, review, and execute audit procedures remotely
· Provide written advice on the application of accounting standards and policies
· Review and/or prepare general purpose or special purpose financial reports (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.)
· Coordinate with other team members in support of the Partner
· Coach junior team members and review their work
· Review and enhance firm templates and deliverables
· Assist with other project and firm administrative tasks as required
Experience and Background
· Minimum 5 years of experience in external audit, preferably with a Big 4 or international audit firm
· Strong knowledge of IFRS and similar accounting frameworks
· Experience managing day-to-day client relationships in audit and assurance services
Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or related field
· CPA or CA qualified (or near completion)
· Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
· Proficient in common accounting/reporting systems, office software, and data analysis tools
· A forward-thinking mindset, passionate about driving change and innovation in audit
· A collaborative and solutions-focused professional with high integrity and care for team and clients
· Excellent client service skills and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
· Proven ability to manage time and lead teams effectively
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy
