Description

With our continued success and organisational growth, Wild Desert have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Operations Officer to join our Transport team in Roma.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment where your support capabilities will play a vital role in the success of our operations.

The Business Operations Officer will provide critical administrative and operational support to our field services teams in the Surat Basin. This role will involve managing a variety of administrative tasks related to logistics, procurement, personnel coordination, and operational reporting, all while ensuring that the field operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This is a Roma-based residential position. FIFO arrangements and company-provided accommodation are not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across operations, ensuring smooth execution of daily tasks and field operations. 
  • General daily upkeep of our business management systems, Salesforce and Monday.com.
  • Managing accommodation bookings for teams in field
  • Liaise with HR team to in regard to rosters and crew changes 
  • Undertake other projects and tasks to support the team in achieving its overall objectives

About you:

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills – detail oriented, ability to prioritise and be proactive
  • A confident communicator, comfortable providing support at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • Current, manual C-Class Driver’s Licence
