Delivery Manager (product and tech)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology and product projects across our client portfolio. In this role you will own the full delivery lifecycle — from discovery and scoping through to build, release, and retrospective — managing client relationships, commercial outcomes, and cross-functional teams throughout. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, and is equally comfortable running a discovery workshop with a client as they are coordinating a sprint with a development team. While your primary portfolio sits across technology and product accounts, you’ll work within a collaborative delivery team and will occasionally support cross-functional projects spanning marketing, growth, and brand — ensuring continuity and quality across the agency’s full service offering.

Responsibilities

Project delivery

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and product projects across the agency’s client portfolio
• Lead technical discovery processes, including requirements gathering, feature prioritisation, and scope definition
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource schedules, and budgetsIdentify and manage project risks, dependencies, and scope changes proactively
• Facilitate internal team meetings, sprint ceremonies, stand-ups, and delivery checkpoints
• Maintain project tracking and reporting across all active engagements
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the standard expected by clientsSupport cross-functional delivery across marketing, growth, and brand projects during peak periods

Account management

• Serve as the primary client contact for a defined portfolio of technology and product accounts
• Lead client discovery workshops, project kickoffs, status updates, and review meetings
• Manage client expectations around timelines, deliverables, technical constraints, and change requests
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional scope or services
• Prepare and present project proposals, estimates, and statements of work in collaboration with senior leadership

Internal coordination

• Coordinate across development, QA, UX, and creative disciplines to resource and schedule project work
• Manage hybrid teams across local and remote environments
• Provide clear technical briefing and product context to team members at project initiation
• Escalate resourcing, quality, or timeline issues to leadership as needed

Commercial and operational

• Track project profitability and flag budget variances early
• Support accurate time and cost tracking to maintain visibility on job-level performance
• Contribute to process improvement across technical delivery workflows
• Assist with onboarding of future delivery hires as the team grows

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Senior PM in an agency or consultancy environment
• Strong understanding of product development methodologies — Agile, sprint-based delivery, backlog management, and hybrid approaches
• Experience leading discovery-to-outcome engagements across complex technology or product projects
• Ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders, translating client needs into clear development team direction
• Strong commercial acumen — job costing, margin tracking, and budget management
• Ability to manage hybrid teams across local and remote environments
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
