West-trans Equipment is an Australian family-owned business with a national presence in the waste management and logistics industry. We are a manufacturer and/or repairer for skip loader, hook lifters, truck mounted cranes and Hammar side lift trailers since 1994.

About the role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven parts interpreter to join our team, located in Mulgrave near Windsor/Hawksbury area in Sydney. You will work within a dynamic team and be part of a sustainable company that is one of the market leaders in the service of truck mounted cranes, loaders, and waste lifting equipment. The main purpose of the position is to provide efficient and friendly spare parts service, purchasing, ensure efficient warehouse inventory management, accuracy and factory utilizations can be accounted for at all times.

• Hours: Full time, Mon-Fri – with overtime

• Location: Mulgrave NSW 2756

• Commencement: Immediate start

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a high level of customer service

• Efficient parts interpreting for both service agents and trade customers

• Quoting & ordering of parts, and its data entry

• Maintain part number and locations integrity

• Maintain visual display of part numbers and organizing parts storage on shelves

• Ensure parts movement is always in a neat and efficient manner

• Investigate any stock discrepancies, assist in adjustment of stock as required

• Assist in picking and packing, organizing freight.

• Relief procurement and receipting staff when required

• All variances are confirmed, investigated, and reported accordingly

• Ensure POs, SOs, PO receipts are up to date at all times

• Warranty register data entry

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Strong computer skills

• High level of accuracy in data entry

• Strong attention details in investigating discrepancies.

• 3 – 5 years previous warehousing experiences are highly regarded

• Demonstrated Inventory software experience is highly regarded

• Experience in Greentree or other ERP software is highly regarded but not essential
