CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT – Permanent Part time 

Join our team as a Chiropractic Assistant – where every day is about helping people feel their best and supporting passionate professionals. 

Working Hours (Must be available) 

Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 9:30am – 7:30pm 

Saturday: 8am – 1pm 

Availability to work on the advertised roster, with flexibility to work additional weekdays and Saturdays to cover annual leave and sick leave when required. 

Remuneration 

Hourly rate will be based on the successful applicant’s skills, experience and qualifications

About the role

Your main duties will include but are not limited to: 

  • Coordinate all aspects of patient care and clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, payment processing, and administrative duties. 
  • Foster a welcoming, professional, and positive environment for both patients and team members. 
  • Demonstrate a professional and confident telephone manner at all times. 
  • Manage email and message correspondence in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Process patient payments and health fund claims accurately using the HICAPS Trinity terminal. 
  • Provide comprehensive support to chiropractors and allied health practitioners to ensure smooth practice operations and exceptional patient experiences. 
  • Complete all assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. 
  • Perform a range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. 
  • Collaborate with and support chiropractors, allied health practitioners, administration, and management teams. 
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the clinic’s services, practitioner procedures, protocols, and patient care processes. 
  • Remain calm, professional, and solution-focused while working in a fast-paced environment.

  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are essential, as travel between clinic locations may be required.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive patient information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism. 
  • Professional, confident, and courteous telephone manner. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. 
  • Genuine interest in chiropractic care and allied health services.
