WA Blue Sky are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our Finance team, working closely
with the Chief Corporate Services Officer to deliver efficient, compliant, and
high-quality financial practices. This role is ideal for an Accountant with
experience in the not-for-profit sector and desirable exposure to disability
and/or aged care services, including NDIS funding. You will be passionate about
supporting strong governance, delivering accurate reporting, and driving
continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Corporate Services Officer, this role is a great opportunity for an
experienced Accountant who enjoys working with key stakeholders in providing
accurate and timely financial reporting, whilst also contributing to system
improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Providing accurate and timely accounting information to aid in the provision of reliable financial and management reporting, which supports organisational objectives
- Preparing and maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end procedures and other accounting tasks as required
- Supporting preparation of the month-end, performance and ad hoc reporting
- Contributing to the preparation and monitoring of the budget
- Supporting the finance team in meeting compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
Your Essentials:
- Accounting or Business-related qualification in addition to CPA or CANZ accreditation or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector
Your Experience, Skills & Attributes:
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office
- A positive attitude, be highly organised, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyse information, to spot trends and anomalies and identify control deficiencies
- Excellent attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and fostering a strong organisational culture will be greatly valued
- Desirable experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Desirable exposure to disability and/or aged care services, including NDIS funding.
