About the role
Working side-by-side with the Warehouse Dispatch team, this role is critical to our business, as accuracy, attention to detail, and high levels of care are paramount to ensuring the smooth, ongoing operations of our company. You will pick and pack products to fill customer orders and respond to customer service tickets with professional aptitude. An eye for accuracy will ensure that our business meets our sales targets and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking & Fulfilment
- Accurately pick pharmaceutical products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or order documentation
- Verify product codes, batch numbers, expiry dates, and quantities during the picking process
- Ensure all picked orders are complete, accurate, and prepared for packing within required timeframes
- Escalate any picking discrepancies, stock issues, or location errors immediately
Packing & Dispatch Preparation
- Pack picked pharmaceutical products securely to prevent damage during transport
- Label all packages correctly in line with compliance, traceability, and customer requirements
- Prepare completed orders for courier collection or internal dispatch teams
Compliance & Quality Control
- Follow all regulatory requirements relating to pharmaceutical handling and controlled inventory
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody, traceability, and documentation standards
- Ensure all picking and packing activities meet quality assurance expectations
- Report damaged goods, missing stock, or documentation errors promptly
Inventory Support
- Assist with cycle counts and stocktakes as required
- Support stock rotation practices (e.g., FIFO/FEFO) during picking activities
- Report low stock levels or discrepancies to supervisors
Safety & Workplace Standards
- Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures
- Operate safely within a secure, regulated warehouse environment
- Use warehouse equipment such as trolleys, pallet jacks, and packing tools correctly
Requirements
- Australian working rights for at least 3 years.
- Goal-oriented with a professional and personal development focus.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a pace, multitask, and alternate between rolling your sleeves and contributing.
- A history of punctuality and reliability.
- Tech-savvy with computer processing skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word,and Excel.
- Some warehousing experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
- Ability to be agile and dynamic in a consistently evolving environment.
- Be able to work both autonomously and within a team.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, dependent on the fortnightly roster.
Highly regarded
- Previous warehouse experience with high-volume pick packing.
Other items required:
- Must be willing to undertake a National Police Check
