We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Translations Project Coordinator to join our team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, covering parental leave. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, working with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring high‑quality language services are delivered on time and within scope.

Reporting to the Manager Translations, you will coordinate translation projects from brief to delivery. You will act as the key point of contact between clients, internal stakeholders, external translators, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and deadline requirements.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end translation projects across multiple languages
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify briefs, timelines, and priorities
  • Engage external translators
  • Prepare project schedules, briefs, and cost estimates
  • Monitor progress, quality, and delivery timelines across multiple projects
  • Conduct basic quality checks and ensure adherence to style guides and glossaries
  • Maintain accurate project records, trackers, and reporting
  • Support continuous improvement of translation workflows and processes.

About You

You are proactive, organised, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines. You bring a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in project coordination, ideally within translations or language services
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with external vendors or freelancers
  • Confidence using translation management tools and MS Office
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team
  • Knowledge of multilingual or multicultural communications
  • Tertiary qualifications in languages, linguistics, project management, or a related field
