Expression of Interest – Casual Pool Registered Nurses – Complex Care Team

Your New Role 

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN Year 2 and above) to join our expanding Casual Complex Care Pool. In this role, you will provide specialised one to one nursing care to clients in their homes across Sydney, including ventilator dependent and high acuity clients. 

Essential Criteria 

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum RN Year 2 experience ICU trained with recent critical care experience 
• Demonstrated competency caring for ventilated patients Experience in tracheostomy management
• Current CPR certificate
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) 
• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Australian driver licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
• Full work rights in Australia
•  Availability to work flexible casual shifts including days, nights, weekends and public holidays 

Clinical Experience Required 

• Invasive and non-invasive ventilation 
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Airway management and suctioning
• Enteral feeding (PEG/PEJ) 
• Complex medication administration
• Bowel and continence management 
• Neurological and respiratory conditions 
• Manual handling and mobility support
•  Clinical assessment and escalation of deteriorating patients
