Your New Role: 

  • We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse Educator to support the development of our growing clinical workforce across our Complex Care division. 
  • Developing, reviewing and maintaining evidence-based education and training resources. 
  • Delivering orientation, onboarding and transition-to-practice programs. 
  • Facilitating clinical education sessions, workshops and competency assessments. 
  • Supporting nurses working in complex and high-acuity home care settings. 
  • Developing clinical guidelines and educational materials aligned with best practice standards. 
  • Identifying learning needs and implementing workforce development initiatives. 
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, patient safety and clinical excellence.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Significant clinical experience within Critical Care, Intensive Care or Acute Care settings. 
  • Experience in clinical education, staff development, preceptorship or mentoring. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver educational programs. 
  • Passion for inspiring, educating and empowering nurses.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites as required. 
  • Full working rights in Australia. 

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Previous experience as Clinical Nurse Educator
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
  • Experience within an ICU or Critical care setting
  • Experience developing clinical competencies, policies and practice guidelines.
