Vital Chemical is a recognised leader in sustainable
environmental solutions, with expertise in erosion control, dust suppression,
revegetation, and water treatment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and hard-working
individual to join our growing team. This role will work between our two sites
– Darra and Seventeen Mile Rocks facilities.
This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety. You
will be a versatile team player ready to jump between tasks as the warehouse
needs change. From forklift operation and inventory organisation to truck
unloading, deliveries and manufacturing product no two days are the same.
What You’ll Do:
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders in a
timely manner.
- Label products, complete necessary paperwork and
pre-starts.
- Receive, unload and check incoming stock deliveries.
- Complete stocktakes.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers and containers.
- Deliveries to customers within the SEQ region.
- Stock transfers between Vital Chemical sites.
- Manufacture and pack off finished products as per Manufacturing
Procedures.
- Complete batch documentation, logs and checklists accurately.
- Assist with plant hygiene shutdown.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
- General warehousing housekeeping.
- Ensure safety and compliance is always maintained and all incidents
are recorded and escalated.
About You:
- Current and valid forklift licence.
- Current and valid HR licence (or willingness to obtain).
- Dangerous Goods licence advantageous.
- Warehouse experience and/or delivery driving experience.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
- Honest and reliable.
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive, proactive and safety-concious attitude.
- Physically fit – able to handle general labour duties.
- Basic vehicle knowledge.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, police check, clean driving history record.
