As our Executive, Marketing & Campaigns; you’ll be part of a team implementing our brand platform, “Every Bit Different. You’ll think outside of the box to showcase the best of Victoria’s unique events and experiences. You’ll be well-versed in integrated campaigns and media schedules, demonstrating eagerness to build relationships across internal teams and with external partners. The role
- Develop, implement, and evaluate consumer marketing campaigns to increase visitation to Victoria.
- Provide input into our annual marketing plans, showcasing Victoria’s Masterbrand promise and major events.
- Lead the implementation of marketing activities within budgets and timelines.
- Monitor campaign performance to improve ROI and deliver insightful reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize campaign reach and acquisition of consumer data.
- Prepare campaign briefs, board papers, and represent Visit Victoria at events and meetings.
About you
- Tertiary qualified in any of the following: tourism, marketing, communications or advertising.
- Well-developed project management and organisational skills.
- High level written and verbal communication skills with experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed and demonstrated understanding of, and experience in integrated, multi-channel marketing campaign development and implementation, including working with large-scale creative, public relations and media agency providers.
- High level creative, research and analytical skills including the ability to develop and evaluate marketing strategies and programs.
- Well-developed communication, public speaking and influencing skills, ability to prepare quality creative and media briefs, reports, submissions, Ministerial briefs and correspondence.
- Marketing knowledge of the tourism, entertainment, sporting, food and wine or fashion sectors
- Sound knowledge and understanding of tourism structures, products and experiences.
- Ability to balance strategic work with day-to-day operational priorities.
