Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team in North Sydney. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional coffee service to our office staff. This is a part-time position offering great pay and a supportive work-life balance.
Skills:
– Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role
– Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art
– Familiarity with various coffee beans, blends, and flavors
– Ability to operate espresso machines and other coffee equipment
– Excellent customer service skills
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages according to customer preferences
– Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery of their drinks
– Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have regarding the menu or beverage options
– Maintain cleanliness of the coffee preparation area, including equipment maintenance, regular cleaning, and restocking supplies as needed
– Follow health and safety guidelines while handling food products, ensuring proper sanitation practices are consistently followed
Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not required (entry-level candidates are welcome)
– Basic knowledge of different types of coffees, brewing methods, milk steaming techniques, latte art is advantageous
but can be trained on the job.
– Willingness to learn new skills related to coffee preparation.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both colleagues
