Job Title: Barista

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team in North Sydney. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional coffee service to our office staff. This is a part-time position offering great pay and a supportive work-life balance.

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role

- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art

- Familiarity with various coffee beans, blends, and flavors

- Ability to operate espresso machines and other coffee equipment

- Excellent customer service skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages according to customer preferences

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery of their drinks

- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have regarding the menu or beverage options

- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee preparation area, including equipment maintenance, regular cleaning, and restocking supplies as needed

- Follow health and safety guidelines while handling food products, ensuring proper sanitation practices are consistently followed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not required (entry-level candidates are welcome)

- Basic knowledge of different types of coffees, brewing methods, milk steaming techniques, latte art is advantageous

but can be trained on the job.

- Willingness to learn new skills related to coffee preparation.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both colleagues

-and customers.

- Ability to work well under pressure during peak hours while maintaining attention

detail.
