shape our newest early learning service. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll mentor educators, build meaningful relationships with families, and help create a centre recognised for its

Responsibilities:

Lead Alongside the Centre Director: Work in partnership with the Centre
Director to support the day-to-day operations and help guide the centre’s
vision, culture, and success

Mentor & Inspire: Be the go-to mentor for the team, creating a positive,
collaborative vibe where everyone thrives and feels supported

Leading through connection: Balance operational leadership with an active presence on the floor, building meaningful relationships with children and mentoring educators

Quality & Compliance Champion: Support the centre to consistently meet
regulatory requirements and quality standards, promoting best practice through a calm, organised, and approachable leadership style

Family Champion: Create welcoming, trusting connections with families, collaborating to nurture each child’s unique learning journey and sense of belonging

Centre Innovator: Bring fresh ideas, initiative, and creative thinking to enhance programs, practices, and the overall centre experience for children, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or a
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- You’ve already rocked a senior leadership role or Assistant Centre Director role
with the confidence and ambition to step into early childhood education
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship- building skills
- A genuine passion for creating engaging, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments
- Confident problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges calmly and thoughtfully
- In-Depth Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations, and
quality improvement practices
