About the Role 

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator / Spare Parts Trainee responsible for coordinating and executing daily warehouse and spare parts operations. This role ensures the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of parts, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and service. 

You will work closely with the Warehouse and Workshop teams and contribute to maintaining strong inventory control and customer service outcomes. 

Key Accountabilities  

  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations 
  • Ensure compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations 
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, including loading, packing, labelling and dispatch 
  • Receive, unload and process incoming stock, including containers and crates 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control processes 
  • Perform inventory checks and support audit requirements 
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment 
  • Conduct pre-start checks and operate warehouse equipment safely 
  • Report discrepancies, damages or stock issues promptly 
  • Ensure orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner 
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members 
  • Assist with phone, email and face-to-face inquiries relating to parts and orders 

Skills and Experience   

  • Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment 
  • Familiarity with warehousing processes and safe work practices 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Physically capable of manual handling tasks 
  • Forklift licence (desirable) 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
