The Role:

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Morningside. The successful applicant must have a minimum 4 years civil engineering experience with 3 years specifically related to the utility and infrastructure sector.

Competencies Required for the Role:

  • Demonstrated civil engineering experience in the utility and infrastructure sector
  • Ability to coordinate all aspects of a projects and deliver key construction requirements in line with safety, quality, budget & time
  • Knowledge of the relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice
  • Understanding contractual agreements, preparing claims and dispute management
  • Expert leadership and negotiation skills
  • Attending project meetings, preparing progress updates, and maintaining clear communication with clients.
  • Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Keeping track of and reporting project progression, identifying potential risks, and devising strategies for risk mitigation.
