The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced & motivated Senior Bid Writer & Tender Specialist to join our Defence team, based at our Tomago site.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be an Australian citizen
- Provide relevant experience in writing & coordinating complex tenders.
- Be eligible for an Australian Defence security clearance.
- Strong compliance skills & knowledge of the Defence industry.
- Experienced in technical content and SME coordination.
In this role, the successful candidate will play an integral part in supporting the team through the following responsibilities:
- Leading proposal strategies & structures for complex tenders
- Develop & maintain compliance matrix’s
- Lead drafting of high-quality tenders, which align with Defence acquisition expectations.
- Coordinate and quality assure SME inputs.
- Support the Bid Manager in summarising legislative requirements & risks.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure all schedules & tenders are consistent.
- Prepare simple commercial summaries to accompany tenders.
- Maintain accurate records in line with document control requirements.
