The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced & motivated Project Manager to join our Defence team, based at our Tomago site.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen.
- Provide relevant qualifications in project management.
- Be eligible for an Australian Defence security clearance.
- Showcase proven experience in delivering Defence projects.
- Demonstrate capability across project planning, execution & risk management.
- Knowledge of project & enterprise IT systems for efficient delivery & reporting.
- Proven ability to lead & coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a professional & collaborative manner.
In this role, the successful candidate will play an integral part in leading the team through the following responsibilities:
- Ensure all projects are conducted in compliance with Defence security obligations.
- Plan, manage & deliver projects across the full lifecycle.
- Maintain professional & proactive relations with our customers & stakeholders.
- Develop & maintain project schedules, budgets & management plans.
- Provide mentoring & performance feedback to various team members to foster our collaborative and outcomes-focused delivery culture.
- Manage specialist contractors and suppliers in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure quality & compliance.
