Surf Coach

As we gear up for a busy spring/summer season, we’re seeking enthusiastic Surf Coaches to deliver high-quality coaching and exceptional guest experiences in a world-class surf environment

• You will play a key role in helping our guests catch their first waves, improve their skills and your coaching eye while creating unforgettable memories. Work in a fun, dynamic, and positive environment!

Education

Qualifications: Surfing Victoria Foundation (Level 1) coach, Working with Children, First Aid, CPR and Ocean Safety Certificate (inc 500m swim).

Experience: Experience working as a surf coach/ sports coach and related industries is preferred.

The Surf Academy Coaches are responsible for delivering exceptional lessons for our beginners in The Bays through to our more advanced surfers at The Point in both group and private settings. You will aid in the setting of overall culture by ensuring consistent and exemplary customer experience within URBNSURF Sydney. Surf Academy Coaches are responsible for ensuring guest safety / stoke by implementing various safety strategies and creating a fun and engaging environment for surf progression.

Timeline & Availability

• Interviews week commencing 17th August
• Training early September
• Shifts commence October / Novvember
