About the Role

The Property Relations Manager is a key position in the Property Acquisition team and is responsible for managing the communication, administration and commercials related to our asset owners and landlords. They are responsible for building and fostering relationships with asset owners, ensuring compliance with agreement terms, and supporting the global property acquisition function. We are looking for someone with real estate experience, operational and administration skills, and comfort managing a large number of stakeholders. This is a 12 month parental coverage contract role with potential to extend.

Responsibilities

Owner Communication & Account Management:

  • Develop and define asset owner communication strategy and plan
  • Manage and distribute owner/landlord communications, including ongoing correspondence, lease/management agreement compliance and renewal discussion in partnership with leadership
  • Act as the primary point of contact for property owners, promptly addressing and resolving any issues related to their properties or performance and explore future partnership opportunities
  • Work closely with Operations team to execute on process and property improvements efforts, the projects team to onboard and offboard properties, liaising with owners for discussions on refurbishments, maintenance required and cost approvals

Lease and Management Agreement Administration:

  • Manage lease/management agreement administration including storage, signature management, term discussions and renewals
  • Coordinate rental and bond payments
  • Coordinate rental abatement
  • Work with commercial team to gain experience in revenue projection and key market demand drivers
  • Support global property growth function to streamline and manager operations for landlords, their agreements and communications

Utility Management and Onboarding Support:

  • Oversee the management of utility and internet accounts as well as the STRA registrations in NSW
  • Identify cost saving opportunities across portfolio of properties and accounts

CRM Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain owner contact and property information in Salesforce, track interactions and collaborate with property acquisition to refer leads where appropriate
  • Develop and manage reporting requirements for Property Acquisition function

 

What We Look For

  • Experience in a real estate role with ability to foster relationships to create long term value.
  • Leasing experience is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience relating to real estate, hospitality, travel or accommodation related businesses
  • Preferably holds a Licensee in Charge real estate licence (NSW)
  • A motivated self-starter who sets high goals and seeks to exceed
  • Analytical, decisive individual with the ability to contribute and enact a strategic plan for property acquisition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
