We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Client Experience Officer to be the first point of contact at our Wangaratta site. This permanent part-time role (22.8 hours per week) is ideal for someone who values work-life balance and is eager to make a genuine difference in the community.

About the Role

In this role, you will not only provide warm, respectful, and inclusive service to clients but also support the smooth running of our front-of-house operations and assist with a range of essential administrative tasks. You will play a key part in ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for all who connect with UMFC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for clients, contractors, professionals, and visitors, in person and over the phone, offering respectful and confidential service.
  • Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment, directing people to the right services or team members and assisting with general inquiries.
  • Ensure smooth operation of front-of-house communications, including full reception coverage during business hours and coordination of support when needed.
  • Deliver vital administrative support across services, from managing mail, ordering supplies, and maintaining office equipment to banking and filing systems.
  • Assist in facility upkeep, fleet coordination, and provide reception and administrative training for new staff, while supporting cross-functional collaboration and project participation.
  • Work closely with teams across UMFC to ensure seamless service delivery and strong internal communication.

Your Experience

  • Qualifications in Administration or Business Services and/or extensive Administration/Business Service experience.
  • Ability to understand client’s differing needs and respond in a way that demonstrates a commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team, maintaining a high level of confidentiality while managing and prioritising administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Proven capacity to take a systematic, organised, and proactive approach to work, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to verbally communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including other professionals, community groups, children, and families, with well-developed and accurate written and oral skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and embody UMFC values in practice.
  • Computer literacy and be willing to learn new skills.
